Hello there! To keep everything plain and simple, we are the Myriad group. We are a roleplay server who's been dedicated to making roleplays for over a decade now! This roleplay is named When Day Breaks, it's our original spin on our modern earth with a fantasy twist. It takes place 10 years from now and comes with its own plethora of lore. Freedom, yes unlike most roleplay servers that stick to a premade story or have super specific things you can or can't do, we offer the freedom to do anything you can accomplish through wits and strategies.

Combat, we operate on an RTK system, so even people who aren't as passionate about the story can come in here and experience fun and cool powers in an action packed setting, whether it's against our staff in quests or other players!

Story lovers, if you aren't crazy about the fighting aspect. We have systems to where you can either live a completely peaceful life and make friends, or even only do quests and try to reach for the top!

We have a completely hand made system, with not only ability scaling, but also physical scaling. There are PVE and PVP scaling systems to allow people to grow either cooperatively or competitively. Join the Guild to become the most famous adventurer, or help the Redeemers combat against the Nova Virus overseas to reclaim the rest of the world.

Game Name: Tempest Tomorrow
System: Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition

Time Zone: Any, but the server is mostly populated by EST players. Though many with terrible sleep schedules.

Game style: Text-based RP. However, its a persistent world, pretty much a play-by-post where people can always start a scene and interact with other players, or deal with Villain run events to spark interactions.

Description: It's the near future of 2030, set in U.S city Boston. Super Powers have been common for the past 80 year, with technology reaching new heights. Heroes are apart of the Tempest Tomorrow Initiative, a program where aspiring heroes join to gain the mentorship of the world's premier Superhero Team, The Tempest Titans, in order to eventually join the team!
Or not.
Your character could also just be someone living in Boston, or even a vigilante. They don't even have to join the program. And you can build a villain to cause some trouble for heroes.

Char Creation Notes: Heroes are PL 10, and no effect on the effect chart can exceed 10 (Aside from a few exceptions), and you can not trade off more than 50% of something.

Misc Notes: Magic does exist, but don't expect to be able to make a full blown Doctor Strange. Also the first character you make cannot be a Villain. This is done to ensure the player is trustworthiness.
