Our story takes place in the modern day.

A little over a hundred years after Johnny Joestar stole the Holy Corpse, bizarre things are still happening. On the mainland of the United States, the Saint’s Corpse has begun walking. The guards stationed at its location reported that it somehow escaped and disappeared along with them. Unbeknownst to them, the Corpse was attempting to save itself from something dark and ancient. This darkness began in New York and made its way to the west, reaching all over the globe.

Eventually, the Saint’s Corpse returned to Golgotha, the skull-shaped hill where it was originally crucified back when it was still alive. The dark hand of the eldritch evil has caught up with the holy cadaver, resulting in the Corpse performing a “miracle” to save itself… This unfortunate “miracle” collapsed timelines, places merged, people raised from the dead, created distortions in the universe, all to give the Corpse protection from the shadows. Things seem normal again, but something dangerous is lurking in the darkness.
