The Cost of Progress is a canon divergent literate/advanced literate roleplay server for the series Arcane.

The events of The Cost of Progress take place after season 2 episode 5 of Arcane, right at the start of episode 6 and diverge from there, while taking episode 7 as canon for Ekko and Heimerdinger.

Ekko has made it back to his own timeline around the same time Jayce did. Only problem is the miniature hexcore that Ekko, Powder, and Heimerdinger created together brought forth chaos upon its arrival to the main timeline. The two hexcores called and reacted to one another, making unpredictable glitches appear. No one knows when the next glitch will be, who will be affected, and what it might do, but minds from all over are trying to find out.
