A curfew is set citywide, setting up camp is strictly prohibited. Police have been stationed across the forest edge on constant surveillance, kids and parents alike are advised to avoid the forest at all costs. These are the strict rules the newly appointed mayor in this ever-growing city has announced.. All the brutal deaths, along with the brutal killings and even “monster” sightings from both children and adults that always seemed to circle their way back in the town’s discourse ever since it was founded eventually led to the strict enforcement of these rules. However, as any limitation does, these rules tend to draw teens towards the forest as an act of rebellion. Whether it be douchebag teens who just want to see if the rumors happen to be true, or teens who just see it as their only escape, someone always managed to slip through the cracks.
