RULERS OF RUIN
A canine roleplay.

Rulers of Ruin takes place around the city of Brookview after the sudden evacuation of all the residents there. Wildlife and former pets alike will have to learn to use this new freedom. Wild canines are no longer limited by the expansion of the town and domestic canines are no longer limited by the whims of their owners. Some choose to learn from the humans and take what they've left, while others keep their distance. What will they make of what was left behind? Inspired by the likes of Survivors by Erin Hunter and the Lost River map of Wolfquest.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?

- Blend of semi-realism and light fantasy where animals have formed a kind of civilization and begun to use certain tools.

- Unique groups with their own beliefs, systems, ranks, and traits! Will you choose to live in the peaceful town of Fernville or the wild pack of the Northern Range?

- A safe and calm place for everyone no matter their identity, roleplay style, or experience.

- We are a freeform style server! While one liners and low-effort responses are discouraged, there is no minimum requirement for responses or roleplay activity. Want to write a multiple paragraph response? Cool! Only feel like you need to write a few sentences? That's fine too! Nothing feels like a tedious task here!

- Creative freedom given to the roleplayer. We encourage you to be creative with the lore given and expand on it! Give your character a long history from the beginning or build on it as you go! Take the light fantasy aspect and run with it!

- Aging system to keep the flow going: Six roleplay months pass every real life month.

- Variety of canines you can play as. Wolves, dogs, foxes, coyotes.

Buried in the dirt, covered by rust and surrounded by fragments of bone, is a compass. The arrow is broken, forever pointing to the North. Now it's your choice... are you going to venture down north?

Humans began to disappear, finally succumbing to years of destruction; leaving dogs free to explore the vast world they now call their own... But wander too far, you'll find a barren land deserted of all but a group of stranded canines who call themselves the Followers under the leadership of a mysterious dog called North.
Choose your loyalty. Join the gladiatorial followers and battle for glory and power or rebel against her rule.
Make your choice and be wise, because fate is your paws now.
