The Great Crusade has been raging across the Galaxy for a hundred years. The armies of the Imperium of Man campaign throughout every Segmentum, with the nigh-invincible Legiones Astartes at their fore, as the Emperor of Mankind drives his hosts ever-onward, both to attain humanity's manifest destiny and to find his lost progeny, the 20 Primarchs. Meanwhile, recidivist human realms and Xenos empires alike fight tooth and nail to withstand the Terran onslaught.
