RULERS OF RUIN
A canine roleplay.

Rulers of Ruin takes place around the city of Brookview after the sudden evacuation of all the residents there. Wildlife and former pets alike will have to learn to use this new freedom. Wild canines are no longer limited by the expansion of the town and domestic canines are no longer limited by the whims of their owners. Some choose to learn from the humans and take what they've left, while others keep their distance. What will they make of what was left behind? Inspired by the likes of Survivors by Erin Hunter and the Lost River map of Wolfquest.

- We are a freeform style server! While one liners and low-effort responses are discouraged, there is no minimum requirement for responses or roleplay activity. Want to write a multiple paragraph response? Cool! Only feel like you need to write a few sentences? That's fine too! Nothing feels like a tedious task here!

- Creative freedom given to the roleplayer. We encourage you to be creative with the lore given and expand on it! Give your character a long history from the beginning or build on it as you go! Take the light fantasy aspect and run with it!

- Aging system to keep the flow going: Six roleplay months pass every real life month.

- Variety of canines you can play as. Wolves, dogs, foxes, coyotes.

A dark fantasy canine roleplay server

Join the ranks of three packs that are struggling to survive a cursed island.

Myrkwood (Myrkviðr) is a cursed land haunted by the spirits and monsters. All those that live here know the dangers of these dark forest, and must survive bitter winters, hot summers, and terrible blizzards. The packs that roam these forests have been brought together by force. The law of the land is simple, a lone dog is a dead dog.

Nightmarish creatures lay waiting for them to slip up.

Surrounded on all sides by ocean, Myrkwood is a storm wracked island isolated by jagged reefs and ancient, unlit seas. Once verdant and sacred, the island was cursed long ago. Runes of mankind dot its hillsides, crashed ships fill its shores. Sometime ages ago, shadows crept across the land, corrupting beasts and birthing nightmares in furred skin.
