Tucked on an island north of the Netherlands, a long running institute welcomes those not quite like the rest. Tovenanij Institute of the Arcane Arts teaches and guides the young minds of the supernatural world. The Institute has been around for centuries, though the Headmaster refuses to share just how long it's been up and running.

The Institute facilitates four years of studies. It welcomes students from all continents starting at the age of 18 up until the age of 24. Depending on their chosen major, students are sorted into one of seven Houses: Arcanum, Nocturna, Astralis, Mythos, Sapientia, Veritas, and Caedes. Each house has its own specialty and intent, their values and virtues prominent in each member.

Tovenarij borders the town of Alenmont. The town is full of other beings: vampires, werewolves, witches, fae and so much more, allowing the students of the Institute to explore and socialize, and to exist like humans.

Facility-12, codenamed Lazarus, was never meant to fail. Built deep beneath the earth, it existed to contain, study, and exploit anomalies that could not be allowed to roam this world. On December 30th, 2057, Containment collapsed. Power failed. Communications went dead. Before answers could be found, the facility was sealed from the outside world entirely.

Now, seven months later, those still alive are trapped inside.

Operation Stray-Dog is a character-driven roleplay server set within a sealed research facility slowly falling apart. The upper layers have become crowded, politicized, and tense. The lower layers are dark, flooded, unstable, or worse. Survival is no longer guaranteed by protocol, rank, or clearance. It depends on who you trust, what you’re willing to risk, and how far down you’re willing to go.

Players take on the roles of former personnel, expendables, engineers, researchers, guards, or civilians caught in the lockdown. Alongside sentient anomalies that now walk freely among the population, their past containment replaced with uneasy coexistence. Factions have formed. Supplies are limited. Exploration into the lower layers is dangerous, and often final.

What's more is that we are a SFW server. As a roleplayer, I have been consistently frustrated with the lack of SFW servers in my age range. I wanted something of substance. Something that was much more than just surface level. Which is why I've started this server. Not only is it a safe space for those who crave SFW scenes, but it's also been in the works for the past two years, life has gotten in the way time and time again and now it's finally time for it to be open to the public. ❄️ Tempered Power: IL is a fantasy RP that doesn't quickly become a super hero RP. Each player character is relatively grounded to inspire collaboration with others both IC and OOC. No one here will be playing cosmic time traveling furry demon gods, our magic is akin to Fire Emblem or what you might otherwise find in a standard RPG.

Power comes from working together, not overpowered magic swords and curses for individuals. This is a highly collaborative RP where players can interact in six distinct kingdoms that are fleshed out, yet malleable enough to change by working alongside fellow players to make change happen.

🔥 Characters & Community: Players are encouraged to create diverse lifestyles for each of their characters. We've got an original magic system and a unique take on fantasy races you won't find in most fantasy settings.
