The Continental is a Discord writing server inspired by the John Wick series of films, show, and comics. We accept canon characters from the series as well as OC characters who wish to explore the JW universe.

Some knowledge of the world is encouraged but not required. Be aware that you may come across spoiler content for the series. Due to the mature nature of the series, we are only accepting writers who are 18 and older and characters who are 21 and older. We are only accepting human characters.

Before memory, before myth, and before time itself, there were gods. The architects of reality, and the weavers of existence. They birthed the cosmos, stitched timelines, and sculpted universes in endless succession.

The Cultivation intended to unravel their feats.

It did not seek conquest. It did not seek domination. It sought erasure, and a cosmic reset for the multiverse itself.

Though the gods vanished in the struggle, the Cultivation was stopped. Earth, however, was not spared. Moments before the Cultivation's arrival, the Great Wave of Marimbus shattered the world. It drowned entire continents, wiped away civilizations, and pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. The Chimera, the first Incarnates and the chosen warriors of the gods, were wiped from history. Their home, the island of Solace, vanished not long after.

Humanity rebuilt with time. And though the Pantheon remained silent, new Incarnates emerged, carrying the distant memories of their predecessors. With these new Incarnates to aid them, human empires rose, new regions flourished, and for centuries, peace endured.

But now, something stirs once more. Incarnates are disappearing. The world itself feels unsettled. And in the fabric of space and time, something has awakened.

The Cultivation has returned.

This server takes place in a universe/multiverse separate from any specific cannon. Its cannon is its own, though we will be pulling primarily from the films. Personally, I am very interested in exploring a world that functions much like the setting we see in "Logan" with a more grounded feel, though we will likely be pulling character backgrounds and histories from comics, other movies, etc to fill in blanks.

As for the timeline, this rp will be taking place during the beginning of the fall semester of 2015. Keep that in mind when filling out your character sheet, as well as when rping, since the culture and technology will be from about ten years ago.

When Francis Del Mar drove his herd of cattle up into the shadow of the southeastern Montana mountains, it birthed a little town on the edge of American Civilization. Interlopers on the land, they faced frigid winters, a lawless country, and isolation that forced them to fend for themselves.

The summer of 1886 brought scorching heat, drying out the grazing fields and forcing cowboys to drive their herds further from home in search of grass for their cattle. It's a fight to live, a fight to survive. No weather will bend them, no animal break them.

The Gentled Future - 2005
A century and a half since Mister Del Mar made something of his spot along the Madison river, a proper township has grown. Desperately trying to hold onto the tradition of the past, the residents of Del Mar have been forced to cater to tourist whims. What once were working ranches are now neat little B&B's, old buildings made museums, and ranch work sensationalized to rodeos.

But in some ways, life in Del Mar has never gotten easier, only evolved. While the landscape has been softened by time and law, they now face regulation, forest fires, a failing economy. Survival is still the paramount goal for the residents of Del Mar, Montana.

SWTOTG is an almost four year passion project. Utilising the Sigil system, a d100, 20 skill RPG system. I'm looking for individuals with a passion for Star Wars and mechanical dice systems. We require game masters who are willing to learn a simple system to host canon and non-canon events and scenarios within the galaxy. We are also in need of more typical roles like moderators, partnership managers and those with experience in mechanical systems to assist in balancing the system, as well as creating new perks and more.

Because of the scope of the project, we've been hard at work for the past few years, creating an environment for stories, memories, and most of all fun. From Force Powers, to Species and their traits, to starship and vehicle combat, lightsaber forms and more.

Falcombe is an 21+ modern fantasy roleplay server with an emphasis on mystery, the supernatural and magic. Set in a Celtic region of the UK, the town is a famed tourist location, renowned for its beautiful beach, quaint historic town, and... odd people. Living amongst the humans, outnumbered by ten to one, are the supernaturals. From witches to merfolk, dragonbloods to fae, their communities are tight-knit, and for good reason—across history, supernaturals faced persecution time after time. Falcombe once was, and has once again become their sanctuary.

Even five years ago, a STRIKE Team could expect a deployment only every other month. Now it's measured in times of weeks.

What Is This?

This is a Literate (5+ Sentence Minimum) Roleplay Server that is focused on the UNGOC from the SCP Universe. It focuses on realistic combat and operations, as well as medical and passive roleplay. Players are currently able to make Strike and Assessment Team Operators and Type Blues, as well as Passive Roleplay Roles in the PTOLEMY Division.

In 2015, a tragic terrorist attack fell upon the people of Yokohama, destroying the Shinko Pier and killing many people. While the people of Japan caught the culprits in their human form, the Soul Society knew the real deal. It is now 2017, more than a thousand years since the First Blood War, and this attack, now known as the Yokohama Incident, has reignited the flames of a new cold war between the spiritual factions, one filled with many uncertaitnties as Japan undergoes a struggling period of rebuilding from the mess, with new Spiritually Aware factions and Yakuza taking the fray, all seeking to find their place in a new cold world.

𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐘. is a dark urban fantasy action role-playing server based on the Bleach anime and set in an alternative universe set in 2010s Japan during a new cold war period among the spiritual factions after the Yokohama Incident. Influenced by the works of Hideo Kojima and Toshihiro Nagoshi, it seeks to provide a dual-narrative element of two worlds in an era that resembles heightened tensions and the possibility of war, with the mix of black comedy, a supernatural political crime thriller, and a dark fantasy all in one.

This server serves as a successor to the late Spiral of Time server from 2021 to 2022, with a new layout, systems, narrative, and more.

The year is 2040. In the northern reaches of Canada, a port city built on 20th-century corporate exploitation has seen a new age and new parties come out of the woodwork trying to stake their claim on the sovereign state. Body modification is fashion, and to some, it's the heart of hope to their religious beliefs.

Antronis Port is a dystopia with dozens of things going wrong on the street. Work with other characters, corporations, and streetgangs to advance your character towards their own goals. When creating your character, the high roster count allows you to explore your options: from nurturing underground farms, selling guns and synthetic food, and working as an escort; from wielding power from your cushy corporate office to being a peacekeeper in the city's executive body; the choice and lifestyle is yours to explore.

All in all, this is an 18+ community with a natural appreciation for mature topics; while you're generally free to explore kinks and ERP, the server's requirements emphasize strong character-building and literacy.
